How do I work?
Therapy phases
At ClearMind, I am committed to accompanying you through each of these phases of therapy, providing you with professional and personalized support for your emotional growth and well-being. My goal is to provide you with a safe and confidential space where you can explore your concerns, set clear goals and develop effective strategies to overcome your challenges. I will be with you throughout the process, providing guidance, support and constructive feedback to help you achieve positive changes in your life.
The user contacts ClearMind by any of the means offered. If possible, indicate what kind of service is requested and time availability. This helps us begin more promptly.
We will appoint a first meeting, which is free and non-binding. This conversation is shorter than a regular session, and the purpose would be to decide from both sides if I can be helpful in the pursue of your goals. If we agree, I will provide a timetable with the available options where we can begin. If none of those are fine for you, we can look for other possibilities based on your time availability, within reason :)
We begin the psychological intervention. Firstly, we will make an evaluation of the circumstances and context, psychological resources, how you are feeling, etc. With this information, the psychologist will produce a proposal of how to reach our goals. We will then talk about this proposal and reach an agreement of a plan by consensus, and from this point we will try to reach our goals using no more time than needed.
After the end of the treatment, as a professional courtesy we offer a follow-up freely. The goal of this is not to appoint further sessions but to the contrary, to make sure that the benefits achieved are maintained over time and if we identify any potential difficulty, solve it by phone whenever possible to prevent it becoming a future problem. The duration of this follow-up would be typically between 6 and 12 months, depending on the case.
